This course is designed to address issues concerning long-range effects of the fabrication of materials, application, and implementation of nanotechnologies. Topics include human and/or animal physiology, environmental effects, case studies of controlled materials, FDA and EPA regulations, and ethical implications of nanotechnology. Upon completion, students should be able to investigate, describe, and report on the topics covered. |
