This course covers maintenance, compilation, analysis, and presentation of healthcare statistics and research protocols and techniques. Topics include basic statistical principles, indices, databases, registries, vital statistics, descriptive statistics, research protocol monitoring, Institutional Review Board processes, and knowledge-based research techniques.
