Curriculum Description
This pathway prepares students to enter the Paramedic Academy, which is an intensive 11-month program designed to prepare highly skilled, confident, and compassionate EMS professionals. The Parademic Academy is a Continuing Education program with selective enrollment.
Through a combination of classroom instruction, immersive lab sessions, and real-world clinical experiences, you’ll develop the critical thinking and technical expertise required to perform in high-stakes environments. Our curriculum not only challenges you academically and professionally but also builds the leadership and decision-making skills needed to manage complex patient care situations in the field.

Prior to applying to the Paramedic Academy Program, students must:
- Be eligible to take ENG 111
- Be eligible to take MAT 110 or MAT 143
- Have completed BIO 163 or EMS-3163*
- Have completed EMS 110 or EMS-4200*
