This course is designed to focus on curriculum planning for three to five year olds. Topics include philosophy, curriculum models, indoor and outdoor environments, scheduling, authentic assessment, and planning developmentally appropriate experiences. Upon completion, students should be able to evaluate children’s development, critique curriculum, plan for individual and group needs, and assess and create quality environments. |
