This course is designed to bridge the knowledge gained in a continuing education paramedic program with the knowledge gained in an EMS curriculum program. Emphasis is placed on patient assessment, advanced electrocardiography utilizing the twelve-lead ECG, advanced pharmacology, the appropriate intervention and treatment of multi-system injuries/disorders, ethics, and NC laws and rules.
