This course introduces students to the theoretical concepts and maintenance of autopilots, integrated flight control systems, and flight management systems. Topics include interaction with area navigation systems, including, land-based area navigation (VOR/DME R-NAV), GPS, and interfacing with autopilot. Upon completion, students should be able to create a flight plan and GPS approaches to determine the proficiency of an avionics system. 2020FA - New Course (S24600) |
