This course introduces technical concepts and workflows for digital content creation, while preparing students to make informed creative and technical decisions using industry tools across animation, visual effects, games, and product visualization pipelines. Emphasis is placed on lighting, rendering, and material development as students use industry tools to create surfaces, control light behavior, and prepare assets for presentation or integration, aiming for visually compelling and technically accurate results in digital production pipelines. Upon completion, students will demonstrate the ability to develop materials, apply lighting and rendering
techniques, and prepare 3D assets for integration into production pipelines, using industry-standard tools to achieve visually compelling, technically accurate results across animation, visual effects, games, and product visualization projects.
