This course provides entry-level skills in respiratory care procedures in acute and non-acute care settings. Emphasis is placed on therapeutic modalities and physiological effects, monitoring mechanical ventilation, and problem-solving strategies based on evidence-based medicine protocols and clinical practice guidelines.
